Flor de Pingus 2022 is the refined second wine of Dominio de Pingus in Ribera del Duero, made primarily from old-vine Tempranillo sourced around La Horra. The vintage shows a beautifully expressive profile, with aromas of ripe red berries, wild strawberry, floral notes, and subtle hints of spice and minerality. On the palate, it is polished and energetic, combining pure fruit concentration with fresh acidity and silky, chalk-textured tannins. Careful aging in French oak adds depth without overpowering the wine’s elegance and sense of place. Despite the warmth of the 2022 growing season, the wine retains balance and precision. Flor de Pingus 2022 is approachable in its youth yet structured enough to reward short- to mid-term cellaring.
