The 2022 Martin Woods Jessie James Vineyard Pinot Noir is a refined single-vineyard expression from the cool, windswept slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. It unfurls in the glass with lifted aromatics of red and black fruits — think Bing cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate — accented by floral notes like violet and rose petal, forest floor nuance, white pepper, and subtle spice. The organically farmed vines and minimal intervention winemaking allow this Pinot to reflect its terroir clearly, with a chalky minerality and energetic lift that keeps the fruit lively and expressive. 

On the palate, this wine is elegantly structured rather than weighty, with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins that frame a core of juicy red and dark berry flavors.
