L’ECOLE SYRAH COLUMBIA VALLEY 2022

The L’Ecole Syrah Columbia Valley 2022 is a rich and expressive Rhône-inspired red from Washington State’s expansive Columbia Valley. Predominantly Syrah with small portions of Grenache and Mourvèdre, the wine is sourced from several respected vineyards across the region. Fermented in small stainless-steel lots and aged about 18 months in a mix of French, American, and Hungarian oak, the winemaking emphasizes both depth and balance while preserving the vibrant character of the fruit. 

In the glass, it opens with inviting aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and plum layered with notes of violet, dried herbs, chocolate, and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied and supple, offering juicy dark fruit framed by soft tannins and hints of pepper, sage, and subtle oak. Bright acidity keeps the wine lively, leading to a smooth, mouth-filling finish that makes it both approachable and versatile with food.
