Aslina Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a full-bodied red wine crafted by Ntsiki Biyela, South Africa’s first Black female winemaker, in the Stellenbosch region. This vintage is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot, aged for 14 to 16 months in oak barrels. It showcases aromas of blackcurrant, mint, and cigar box, leading to a bold palate with chewy tannins and a balanced structure. With its harmonious blend of fruit, acidity, and oak, this wine offers both immediate enjoyment and good cellaring potential.
