Leah is a Dayton native, her path has included time in Seattle and the Carolinas, experiences that helped shape both her perspective and her palate, while deepening her appreciation for Dayton’s inventive history and sense of community. Leah’s passion for wine was sparked during her time in Seattle and refined through continued exploration. She has a particular affection for French whites and Italian reds, drawn to their balance, elegance, and expression of place. For Leah, wine is as much about story and tradition as it is about taste.

She believes wine is deeply connected to common-union, and the shared table—meant to be enjoyed slowly and together in community. This philosophy informs how she curates wine and experiences at The Parlor.

The Mansion on Monument is close to Leah’s heart, The Parlor reflects her belief that wine is best enjoyed in beautiful, intentional settings. A mother of three daughters (ages 23, 17, and 13), Leah brings thoughtfulness, care, and a people-centered approach to her work.

Sarah Gosser, globetrotter extraordinaire and passionate educator, has woven her adventurous spirit into the fabric of her life. From the streets of Paris, France to the sun-kissed shores of Spain, she has embraced diverse cultures with open arms. While rooted in the Dayton area, she now calls Troy home, where she continues to nurture her love for exploration. Whether it's feeling the warm sand while diving into a captivating book or savoring the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, Sarah finds joy in life's simple pleasures. With an affinity for felines, foliage, and fostering young minds in high school classrooms, she epitomizes the essence of joie de vivre. Risa brings warm hospitality, hailing from sunny California where she poured wine at a Paso Robles winery for several years. She also has a background in marketing and news reporting and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. Her happy place is being curled up on her couch with her Golden Retriever, Ellie. Risa studied abroad in Italy so she is partial to Italian wines, but she also loves trying new wines and expanding her knowledge!
